Well I'm a bit tired from the several sony ericsson phones I own

... In fact they start to be boring and want something new for me... So far I have tried many phones like: K700, K750, W800, P990, K800 and have modded many phones and have had approx 90% of the past sony ericssons in my hands... But so far phones that impressed me were: W800, K800 and P990... In july I'm getting a P1 so I want to ask the P1 owners on this forum how are their phones, are they satisfied with them and etc...
Here are my questions:
1. How's the build quality of the P1?
2. Is it worth getting it now?
3. What about software (bugs and etc,,,)?
4. Which contents come in the package (like headset, charger, deskstand and etc,,,)?
5. Which is the exact model of the headset that comes with the phone 9if ny)?
6. Does the package include memory stick (what capacity)?
Any answers of these question will be REALLY APPRECIATED

... It would be very nice to hear some replies from you...

1. Excellent, I have dropped mine 4 or 5 times now (onto concrete) and it still works perfectly.
2. No and yes. The successor to the P1 will be announced next week, so the obvious answer is no, wait. However it will probably be Sep or possibly Oct before the new version is in the shops. When the new version is announced, you will get some great deals on the P1 in July and the P1 is still and excellent phone, worth getting in my opinion.
3. Nothing significant, mine is rock solid.
4. A memory card + charger + desk stand + a handsfree/headset.
5. Don't know the exact model, ordinary (wired) headset anyway.
6. Memory stick, 512 Mbyte
Regards,
/Mike B.

I just got one like 3 days ago
1. How's the build quality of the P1?
The build is solid on mine.... no loose anything good... Rock solid
2. Is it worth getting it now?
I'm not sure but i just really wanted the p1i and it was worth my money
yeah they are going to announce the P5 Paris.... so its called i heard it mostly like the p1i except it is a touchscreen slider with same qwerty keyboard under the screen which i think is also bigger has 5mp camera, gps etc...
3. What about software (bugs and etc,,,)?
only thing everyone seems to have is the green tint when taking pictures w/ the camera.... it is always on the right side... sadly mine has it to but i heard firmware update does help with making the green tint less visible
4. Which contents come in the package (like headset, charger, deskstand and etc,,,)?
contents is
* P1i(obviously lol)
* Battery (BST-40)
* Charger (CST-75)
* Stereo Portable Handsfree Headset (HPM-62)
* 512MB Memory Stick Micro™ media (M2™)
* Desk Stand (CDS-65)
* Stylus (ISP-40)
* USB Cable
* PC Synchronization software
* User documentation
5. Which is the exact model of the headset that comes with the phone 9if ny)?
Stereo Portable Handsfree Headset (HPM-62)
it is completely wired so u cant put ur own headphones on it... i would get another headset i have been thinking of getting the HPM-82
6. Does the package include memory stick (what capacity)?
512MB Memory Stick Micro™ media (M2™)
but i got mine with a
1GB Memory Stick Micro™ media (M2™)
but i also have a 512MB,2GB,and a 4GB
Hope this helps

1. How's the build quality of the P1?
I think is good enough, i don't think you are going to hit the walls with it.

Is like any other phone.
2. Is it worth getting it now?
If you have the money yes. Anytime.
3. What about software (bugs and etc,,,)?
It sometimes restarts (it says has restarted to maximize performance), and that's it, i had no other bugs in 6 months.
4. Which contents come in the package (like headset, charger, deskstand and etc,,,)?
Wired headset (no goog at all), charger, deskstand, 2 stylus, SE vip card, a leather case, battery, all the stuff:)
5. Which is the exact model of the headset that comes with the phone 9if ny)?
HPM-62
6. Does the package include memory stick (what capacity)?
512MB card
