Hi Guys,

I need some recommendation. I'm looking for an e-mail client for my P1i that I can use with IMAP e-mail accounts. I know that build-in client can receive and send messages through IMAP but when you save a draft it goes to local folder and when you sent a message it's stored in local "Sent" folder as well and for me it kind of defeats the purpose of using IMAP in the first place...

Thanks in advance.

I'll be surprised if there are any third party email clients out there for UIQ 3, but I would be interested if anyone knows otherwise. I presume the idea behind saving to a local drafts folder is that it allows you to compose while offline.

The option to sync drafts and sent messages with a server could admittedly be somewhat useful if the server provides a 'sent items' directory. The chances of SE doing this for a handset already out in the wild.. well, we can always hope.

Sorry this hasn't really answered your question, maybe someone else will know of another mail client.

Profimail is available almost since uiq3 launch. And it one of the best aplications available, an amazing email client (also browser and file explorer). Its super fast, powerfull, etc. I never regreted buying it.

Profimail will do the job. Turn on "Upload Sent messages" in the advanced settings for account. Works with gmail imap.
