Well my car was MOT'd today and didn't bust my bank account. So seeing as the G900 is the phone of my choice as it has no GPS (Don't want this as I have a bluetooth GPS and om Tom) I am after one. I want to buy a UK spec one so no import model. The choices of place of purchase I can see are Play.com or Expansys.

Is there anywhere else to buy from? Which shop would you guy's recommend, the price is the same at both of them, I got my P1i from expansys, the phone had the Irish CDA on it though, but then again looking at the CDA list the P1i doesn't have a UK spec firmware.

Be careful of Play.com. I know of a T650 which was bought from there that had a Swiss CDA and had to be reflashed via Davinci.

Thanks Rookwise, I was a bit sceptical of Play as I know they have been late on delivery's recently. I went with my head and pre-ordered from Expansys as I got my P1i from them and they are pretty good. They also advertise the phone as UK spec. It will probably come with the Irish CDA which is good enough, better then Swiss anyway!!!

I want to buy the se g900 sim free uk spec. I have found two websites who are doing the uk spec ones they are mobilefun and expansys. But they both will take over 2 weeks to delivery due to shortage of the phones.

I dont want to try play.com because of the things I have heard.

Does anyone know where else I can get this phone from? as I really want it and have been waiting a long time for it.

think those two are your only choices mate.. i had one on order with mobilefun last thursday as at the time it said 2-3 days with an estimated delivery of tuesday just gone... the date has continuously slipped from there.. in the end i cancelled and went with play.com and it was shipped today, hopefully have it saturday as im out tomorrow but i'll post the cda details here or in the g900 thread when i get my hands on it...

I just ordered from mobilefun yesterday and it said 4-8 days for delivery and now its gone to 2-3 weeks. Im cancelling the order.

Yeah please do let me know about if its uk spec or not.

Phone - 1203-6566 R9L004
Bluetooth - 1200-5567 R1D
Organizer - 1203-8784 R6H815
CDA - 1207-6480 R3a

I ran it through the SE updater service and there was no new version and it stated the firmware as Custom UK

my G900 has arrived... well... my next door neighbour has taken delivery of it as far as the online tracker is concerned... i'll post details this evening... via the phone using my wifi conx!

Mine from play.com is also a Customised UK version with no update available as yet...

so exactly the same!
