> Remove ugly boot up/shut down screens on k800i?

I didn't see this in the faq.
On booting up/shutting down there are ugly o2 animations, the shutting down one takes a full 40 secs to end!
Can I remove these?
Also, how up to date is this, I went into the service menu then Service info > Software Info and get the following:
R8BF003
[...]
EROM: R3A022
(I think they're the only relevant ones?)
Apart from that little niggle, the phone is amazing, the picture quality is better than my Dad's camera and I just bought a 4gig card for €24 - making it (phone + card) a mere €10 more than an iPod Nano of the same size!
