I noticed davinci is now offering this change as "testing only" I am kind of thinking of taking the jump as most of the hardware is the same.
Anyone care to take the plunge?

Where on the site do you see this?. I can't find it.
I would like to do this but unfortunately Rogers won't be supporting my Unlimited Browsing anymore since the phone model will be changed:(

Rogers just released new firmware too on Davinci. Side note i too am on rogers and never once paid for data and I have been debranded since day 1 I owned the phone. All I lost was tha crap vision software, and thats back in the RF release on davinci

I am debranded also but you will lose the Unlimited Browsing if you crossflash to C902. It will register on Rogers systems as C902, which at this time, is a non-supported phone by them

As far as I know they still do not do serial registering because I used a BB 8320 for 6 months and never paid for data either and it was not a rogers phone.

Before this phone I had an iPhone. I used a IMEI hack which cloned my phone as another Rogers phone. Recently, Rogers updated their system to support both Phone ID and IMEI tracking. Just check hofo and you can see the IMEI hack has been disabled
This means that although Rogers will see a correct IMEI, the Phone ID will be different. I'm just saying be careful:)
I'm new to the SE scene but not Rogers:)

Forgot to say the reason why you didn't incur extra data is because the Curve is a Rogers supported phone, its in their line up. The C902 is not, which means its not supported. Once Rogers adds the C902, we will be able to crossflash with no worries

That would be great but how do we explain the fact I'm using a htc tynn II and not incurring charges for data either, its an at&t phone.
