hey guys,
i made it in a hurry, and may look bad in macro photo, there are lots of silicon glue wastes around the adapter and all dust on this appeared magically
. works perfect in stereo, both channels correctly working. giving sound without cracks. i'll try to make a new one again perfectly.
my design:
original one(image from deal extreme):

here's a similar one to your design available on ebay (saves making all that mess!)

yes, it looks really "WELL". but you can buy the converter on deal extreme for 1.5$ . i bought it on a local store for 2 ytl ( about 1.6$) . and the taste will be different if you Do It Yourself ^^.

The connector you made is GREAT! No wires at all. It's perfect for pluging headphones which have longer wires

It looks great! Can the radio work now that it has no wires?

it probably will. but you will get a lot of interference as well.

Radio signal will be poor... You cannot get good signal without any wires... It will sound the same as if you have applied the "radio patch" in your phone

lol, doesn't the phone get the radio signal from headphone cables?
so radio wont work good without connected any headphone. but everything should work perfect when you connect a normal headphone on this connector.
