I have bought a K800i which contains fw "R1JG001". Notorious for call disconnections when transferring from 3G to 2G. I know SE FW release has covered leaps and bounds since this however the SEUS update tools gives the same lame message "no updates available"
Is there anyway to manually get the update files and push them onto my phone using XS++ or SEToolsLite?? Shall i try changing CDA to US, UK or something?? the CID is 53. Below is XS++ log dump

No Way dude... CID53 and R1JG001 hahah... I had never seen a case like this... Anyway, there is a solution you can flash CID53 phone like yours...
Use this tutorial:

yeah we live in stone age..this is the friggin problem with middle east version phones..the vendors are barely bothered to release updates because nobody cares about bugs..for them..its a bad phone so sell it away and time to move on to newer model..sort of like an automated sales channel..
well if i change the regions, wouldn't it update the firmware automatically from SEUS..since i don't need the Arabic language support anyway..can somebody point to exactly to latest firmware for K800i because 4shared.com didn't really help. Only old versions there..

www.4shared.com... Then use the above link (tutorial) i gave you... You should be able to have the latest firmware on your CID53 phone

Tested and working 100% if you folow this tutorial correctly:
