I still can't make MMS work on my T68i (mc upgraded to i). Also, accessing the internet by using a laptop with an IR link to the phone is 100% unusable. Although, I can ping websites (ie. yahoo.com, esato.com, etc.), I get 1000+ ms latency. In IE, I can't open a single page. It just says "The page cannot be displayed". I currently don't have any proxy settings configured.

I already have the latest profiles from 2951, fyi. My phone's firmware is R2F004.

What else could be wrong?

if you're a globe subscriber, type go T68i and send to 2951. wait for 2 msgs containing configuration settings... save them both and BOOM! you're all set. btw, there's no MMS access for prepaid accounts... hope this helps.

Yes, I've tried GO T68I and sent to 2951 more than half a dozen times. I tried it again this morning.... Saved every profile 2951 sent me. Still won't work.

And I do have a post-paid account.

You have to call globe customer service to register or something This post was posted from a T68i

I did call them... The first time, they told me to type GO T68I and send it to 2951. I did that and saved the profiles. And as you've guessed, it didn't work. I called them up again (211) and told them of my dilema. They told me to do the GO T68I thing again but I told them that I did it already. She then put me on hold to check my MMS status.

A minute later, she came back saying that I'm already enrolled for MMS and insists that I do the GO T68I thing. In which I did. Same problem.

WAP browsing on the phone is ok since the beginning, btw. No problems with it whatsoever. MMS is my problem. I have a camera but nowhere to send the pics except through IR and Bluetooth.... quite boring if you ask me.

Question ko lang sa globe:bakit iba-iba ang mga sagot nila sa mga customer nila regarding their services?parang di sila ino-orient ng tama para pare-pareho naman sagot nila.at least they should make it a point na matulungan ng tama ang mga customers sa mga services nila dahil tayo ang nagpapasok ng revenues sa kanila.my 2 cents :-) This post was posted from a T68i

@neilgoth
hey dude, how's it hangin?
@*
they only say that the phone's email client isnt supported by globe coz they want u to use globextm... im using the phone's email client to send my pics... no problem at all... does ur gprs work ok? then just configure your pop email by yourself... its pretty simple then try it out.

Pushing GlobeXTM over MMS is a lame advice. It's like selling me a Kia Pride when I really wanted a Chevy Corvette. (No offense to Kia owners)

As far as I know, you can't send any pics (or any attachments for that matter) over GlobeXTM to and from an email address. Hence, my dilema.
