What happend to your N71?
For the Equaliser i thought it was possible to hack the UIQ phones to make them louder, but thats VERY odd for a Music phone not to allow you to edit the Equaliser.

u can change the shortcuts on the standby screen.
opera and opera mini do open html files. no probs for me.
sadly we cannot customize the equalizer.
put ur ringtones in file manager/phone memory/music/sounds they wont appear in the walkman.
u do not need the phone manger to install themes. u can just bluetooth them or usb copy them onto ur phone and then select them from file manager and install them.

I have the same problem with opera... Using on my K800, there still are some web pages that recognize it is a phone browsing and show the wap version of the site, while others are vieved like html... That confuses me a bit...
