5.041 is the firmware version, Apr 30 2002, 09:57:05 is the the date of the firmware. CXC 123 354 is the language version and CDA 102 067/3 is the model number.

no... it's one of the first versions for R600... 6.014 is the latest...

If you upgrade, you'd probably get a more stable version. Some of the bugs will be fixed, etc. If you just bought your phone (w/in warranty) from an authorized distributor, you can get it upgraded for FREE in authorized service centers (Semicon, Smartnet, SonyEricsson). If not (old phone or bought from non-authorized stores), you have to prepare about 500 bucks.

But if your happy with how your phone works, no need to upgrade.
I'm a t86i user and im using an old software version (which is stable). Didn't bother upgrading because the newest version has only fixed minor bugs which i don't care about. Dont know with your phone though.

Most people would recommend Smartnet. (check their thread in the message board for address and contact details). It's an authorized service center unlike greenhills. I hear they can do it on the spot. Dont forget to bring your receipt because they might honor the warranty since you bought it from Smart.
