If you don't need expandable functions, pick 6500c then. It's a nice S40 handset. afaik video recording is better than N73's one.

I would not advise buying Nokia 6500c. I recently traded mine in all it did was switch itself off during internet browsing even after software update. The bottom part of the phone creaks like the cutty sark too. Also video recording is not better than N73. Nokia 6500s is better in many ways though not a smartphone i have heard about complaints regarding call quality

stay away from both phones. n73 is really very slow as i know most users complaining of this issue. i agree that the 6500c (though not a smartphone) is better than the n73 but it's not worth buying it. a cheaper 6300 is better.
