I recently bought an unlocked sim free K850 from expansys. It shows software R1EA031. I loaded the vodafone ireland MMS, GPS and ISP settings and then tried to get a firmware update through SEUS. It tells me that there are no updates available. I uninstalled and reinstalled SEUS but kept getting the same message. I reluctantly did a master reset on the phone and tried SEUS again but still no update available. Now I have lost some of the themes, pictures and ringtones that came with the phone and still have not upgraded my software. What am I doing wrong?

maybe your phone is branded, it isnt?

you could try 3rd parties like davinici or wotanserver

no its not branded i got it unlocked from expansys.

If you would take a look at the k850i FirmWare thread, you would see that the FirmWare is coming out in different regions at different times. You didn't need to do a master reset...

Why not check in which region the firmware you want is released and then tell SEUS you're form that region when you start it?
