Here's a project that I started working on yesterday. It's far from finished, but for now it does the job.

This draws rectangulars representing where each item in standby will be shown according to your layout.xml

To use this, copy and paste the StatusIndicator section from your layout.xml file to the textbox. StatusIndicator example:

Some notes:
This was done with 240x320 phones in mind. It may work for other phones, but the results may look different.

You can remove any item you want, however you must only remove items and nothing else (look at the example above to see from where you can remove items)

If anyone wants the source code feel free to ask for it Keep in mind though that it's very messy.
