My friend's P990 has many small scratches on the screen. They are very visible on a bright background, like white.
I heard tooth paste works well? Is that true?

Toothpaste will scratch it more.
I believe there is some powder sort of stuff used in the toothpaste , this will cause more scratches.
Search on ebay, i remember finding one a year ago.

lmao mate I only know of that toothpaste is best for love bites removal.
But what I think it can do is that it call fill in the tinny gaps thus making the scratches less vissible.
I think its worth a try

I've used Displex on my W900i screen.

It does work with not too much effort, just try not to concentrate too much on the scratches alone, include the surrounding area too. That way you won't notice the difference so much.

Toothpaste should work ok. This might sound daft but toothpaste is an abrasive compound. Basically it scratches out the scratches. Toothpaste works wonders on CD's that are scratched. You put it on in circular motions working through the scratches then rinse with water and dry it with a towel.
