I do not know a gwap about flashing my phone though . I would like to know if there is a firmware upgrade available for free ( do mention the link for it pls)
1. How to know the current firmware version on my cell .
2 .where do i get the latest firmware from and what other files are required for flashing the phone .
3. Step by step tailored procedure for flashing my W 950i ( please explain the procedure like you would to a twelve year old kid who does not know about what gdfs is or what symbian is or gar no knowledge about phone os )
It will be a painfull task but i hope you will be patient and willing.

W950 can be updated through SEUS:

A100/A200 phones are BDXXXX only.

Symbian are UIQ 3.x.

@strizlo: smartphones have their own SEUS(SEUS for smartphones). so the usual SEUS wont work with these phones.
