> Where are .inf files for T68 modem?
Bookmark topic
After a series of problems trying to install/uninstall Sonyericsson software, I had managed to get it working allright (sync, gprs, etc).
Then yesterday (Jan 02, 2003) I logged to wap.sonyericsson.com and found there was a "new" version of Mobile Phone Monitor and Modem Drivers, in which installation readme we were instructed to uninstall all previous versions of SE softs.
So I did it. And after lots of trouble (I manually had to wipe the registry and files on the harddisk) I finally managed to make sync and other apps to work again (with the old version of the software - date Sept 02).
But I could not reinstall the modem drivers (Control Panel/Modems/Add...) and could not find an .inf file either.
I've tried to reinstall Mobile Phone Monitor and the drivers (through packages 2 and 5 of R4 version), but even then T68 drivers are not listed in Add Modem in Control Panel...
Does anyone know how to solve this or maybe can send me the .inf files?

you dont actually have to find the right driver. the t68i modem can work find with a standard 33.6 modem driver.

Well, if it works, excellent!
But wouldn't it be better if I installed the correct drivers?
I hate SE softwares!!!!

Can this help?
Sony Ericsson Dial-Up suite 1.5.3
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?page=gsapopup&Redir=template%3DSP1_17_1%26B%3Die%26PID%3D9773%26LM%3DSD_V%26FID%3D1686
From the instructions:
How to use
Connect the phone via IR.
Start the Dial-Up Networking (DUN) wizard from the Shortcut on the desktop or Start/Programs/Ericsson.
To use the DUN Wizard on XP you have to remove the standard modem installed by default and install the T300 IR modem instead.
If you want to use the Phone Monitor part of the SW only, then a connection via cable or IR is possible.

Thanks, but I tried it earlier... The Dialup Wizard ends up asking to install a modem...
Anyway, I'll try to install a standard 33.6 modem and let you all know.
