I have the G702, and tried to install the Blackberry connect 4.1 SIS file to it, but then a message comes up saying "installation aborted. Push email is already installed on your phone. You must uninstall it before installing Blackberry"
Any ideas of what I could do, I have no email accounts installed on the phone, no options to switch Push email off...

like i said, i doubt you go far without hacking the phone
by opening protected folders access, and installing the sis installer mod by swmail you might be able to install anything, even when the phone did refuse to install before

Well, actually it does work! I simply had to remove Active Sync Exchange that was pre-installed on the phone!

Yeah I agree with this... UIQ hacking made me buy

smartphone when it was released... I was staying with non-smartphones just because they were better for modding... In fact they still have much more mods to apply, but I'm getting used to smartphones as the moding allows MUCH MORE than anytime before

Yes. Upload your c and z drive, and I promise I'll fix it for you right away.

Actually, it installed the BB, but then kept making the phone non-responsive, i.e. I had to keep switching the phone off and therefore ended up having to uninstall it

It's not that easy as you may think. I have tried to hack the file system, but it seems that both the AppTRK and the script is not compatible with the BeiBei prototype - it just makes the phone to restart twice.
