On the advice of others here I chose this camera, the Canon Ixus 950 / Powershot SD850
Was out and about playing with the different settings, here's some pics I took:

Quite a big difference in quality.
Also here's a few vids I took on the camera, the quality of the video I thought was just amazing, I have it set to 30fps.

Overall, very impressed, some of the pictures are very crisp and clear in my opinion, the video is very good quality for a camera and I had it on for around 40mins and the battery is fine....I'm used to my old camera dying after 10mins.
Any creative criticism?

I did these on a point and shoot with no viewfinder, only the screen:
DTM is at Brands Hatch soon, £25 entry.
