hey esato members i got a problem i want to debrand mine k800 so i can edit the cam driver etc and unlock it but i dont know how to debrand it
its cid 53

but mine phone is branded thats why im asking how i first can debrand

Well the procedure of flashing will debrand your phone at the same time if you are using generic firmware... Debranding = flashing the phone with generic firmware... It is nothing else but standard phone flashing... So folowing that tutorial will convert your K800 to K810 and then you will be able to change files in the filesystem FS (patching is not available yet for CID53 phones)...

Anyway, if you don't want a K810 conversion, just use K800 files (MAIN and FS) instead of the K810 ones shown in the tutorial and that's it... You will get fully debranded K800 ready for FS modding

If your K800 is not CID53 (if it is CID49/51/52) you can use the simlock patch generator (found on www.4shared.com) to generate a patch for your MAIN firmware, and folow this tutorial to apply that SIMlock patch to your K800:

you will end up with unlocked K800 to all networks

So there is one problem now... CID53 phones cannot be unlocked by patch yet... CID53 is not yet available... So you have 2 solutions.

You can wait some time until CID53 patching is released, or you can unlock your phone with some of the online clients like davinci or others... But they are not for free.

You can open up the phone's Filesystem (FS) to change camera drivers, acoustics, display drivers, menu icons and more... But you cannot configure elfs to work on your phone, as they require the elfpack patch and patching is not available for CID53 yet... So only FS operations you can make
