Ok so this is the first time I'm gonna flash my phones firmware. Please go over my steps to make sure I'm not gonna kill my phone.

Ok first of all, my phone specs: •Se w800i •CID 36 (red) •Current F/W version:r1bc002 •DB 2010

If you need any more info about my phone here is my XS++ log:

Ok so I'm gonna use XS++(version:3.1 Darwin) to do do this flash.

I have downloaded these two files from iprotebe to use for the flash(I'm gonna flash to r1db001):

•FS: W800_R1BD001_FS_EMEA_1_RED36.bin

Ok so this is how I'm gonna do it:

•First I'm gona extract the 2 F/w files to my hard-rive so I can easily access
them.
•Then I'm gonna Start up XS++ and connect my phone to it.
•Then I'm gonna select the flash "radio button" at the bottom of the XS++ window.
•ThenI'm gonna click both flash main firmware and flash file system.
•Then I'm gonna specify the location of the MAIN Firmware (C:W800_R1BD001_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36.bin)
•Then I'm gonna specify the location of the File System (C:W800_R1BD001_FS_EMEA_1_RED36.bin)

Ok so that's about it, then I click the flash botton and wait anything from 5-10 minutes.

Here are some preautions I took before the flash:

•Made sure my battery was fully charged.
•Took out my simcard and memory card.
•Made sure my phone is placed somewhere where it can't be knocked over or something causing the flash to fail.

if you're from SA, you will need english, right. is/are there other languages you will need?

if not, emea_1 has these languages: English - Estonian - Latvian - Lithuanian - Polish - Russian - Ukrainian.

about the custom, after you're done of the flashing, finalize the phone with this custom: CDA102430/1. xs++ has a list of customs built in.

Use Emea_1 custpack provided in XS++... other firmwares are compatible each to other and won't make problems
