hey guyz. check this out. i dont know if any one knows or or not but i have figured out a way to use the internet of your computer like DSL or cable net on your mobile without any wires.
i know this can be done on wlan (WiFi) enabled sets but i have used it with cheap sets with only bluetooth. i have a 512kbps DSL connection and i enjoy 60kBps speed on my mobile free of cost. Any one interested.....!!!!!
(of course u need a computer, a bluetooth dongle and a SE set (new ones preferred)).

I know that... There are several ways to do this... You can do this with Bluetooth PAN (by configuring your PC to be used as an access point) and with the Sony Ericsson SDK which allows you to run Java apps from the phone using your PC internet connection... SDK works with usb cable, infrared and bluetooth (in fact all types of connections supporting COM ports).

If you have a fast internet connection, get yourself a wireless router. Bluetooth is pretty slow as the current iteration (BT 2.0EDR) has a maximum theoretical rate of 3Mbps.
I get speeds of 500KBps (3.5Mbps) over WiFi on my P1i (verified through a network monitor) while sitting in the other corner of the house.
