Well today I was outside playing basketball with my friends. Only the usual. Then suddenly in the middle of the game when I jumped to get the ball my k800i fell of the floor. When it fell it jumped of 2 times and runned away from about 7 meters. When I picked it up everything was OK exept 1 thing. My screen was broke. The phone was still working but the glass was broken.
Now I think I have to go to the service shop to fix it. I hope the cost isnt big!

Warranty never covers the damage made by user's fauilt... Such as water damage, dropping the phone, electro shocks and etc... They will cover warranty problem such as, buggy firmware, firmware fauilt, fauilty phone or parts that stopped working just by themselves...

Well if the housing is damaged only (not the screen) you can get it fixed for cheap price... Or if you want to do it yourself, www.cnn.cn may have the parts you are looking for.

Here is also a dissasembly guide:

That thing happened to me exactly but in a different situation but I havent still got the time to get to the shop to get it fixed. I cant live without it a moment. Hope to get it repaired soon!

Cant you post the pic of your phone in the broken condition.

And another thing I know my father had a N73ME and he is frequent phone dropper. He has dropped the phone atleast 20 times (height ranging from 1 ft to 6 ft). But the large screen would never get a scratch. Only scratches are from dust particles, e.t.c.
