> New 50 Megapixel Camera!
Bookmark topic
There are high end products and there are outrageous products. This one happens to be the latter.
Hasselblad, the Camera manufacturer known for its high end imaging devices has pulled off a stunner. The worlds first 50 megapixel camera is on sale! Yes, we have seen 50 Megapixel sensors from Canon, but this is the first time such a sensor finds itself crammed into a Camera. The flagship model from Hasselblad earlier was the 39 Megapixel H3DII-39.
The H3DII -50 as it is called, features Kodak’s 50 Megapixel 36×48mm CCD sensor, which is twice the physical size of the largest 35mm DSLR sensors.

This is too extreme for today's standards and memory capacity

. You will need to change memory sticks every 5-6 photos, and the time when your PC HDD gets full will come very quickly

the majority of these camera's dont take memory cards... they connect direct to a mac or pc and use the HDD onboard to save images as they are so large.... the 20MP i use in the studio does this and is the best way as they do take a fraction bit longer to capture the image and are quite heavy to carry round with you.... so one for studio and not for taking out with u....
plus this one is around the £35k mark to buy just the sensor not the lens!
