> C702 missed call/text alert

Is there any way that the C702 can alert you to a missed text message - for example if you receive a text whilst away from the phone how do you know, without "waking" the phone that you have missed a text/call - my last phone used to flash a light and others I've used beeped to warn you but the C702 just sits there until you take it out of standby - any ideas?

I always just just tap the volume keys whenever I come back to my phone. That way I get a quick run down on whether I've received any texts or calls, and I can see the time. Its fairly quick and easy to do this, so it doesn't bother me!
