Does anyone know the best setting for a w880i using mpegable to encode.

I've been using M3 and it suddenly stopped working. Aside from mpegable, does anyone know of any other good encoder?

Thanks

Thanks guys for all your help.

I've been using M3 for awhile and it had the setting for my phone so I got used to it and forgot the exact specs. Now, I can't even open M3 and it just shuts down on me, I can't even get the settings.

Will definitely try the settings you guys recommended with xillisoft and get going:-) Have quite a few movies and series been wanting to encode.

Thanks again

Right, besides youtube, you can find free threads everywhere on internet.

lostchild: Have you tried just not being connected to internet while starting M3? As stated in other threads there is a "feature" in M3 that crashes if you have given M3 OK to access internet. You can get a fresh installation file here.

@hovercraft, thanks for the tip.

I've actually tried that before, I think it was PeterKay who told me to try it and it worked at first and then eventually started coming back again.

I started to use xillisoft and it seems to work just fine, encoded a few movies already and am waiting to see if there's any complaints.

I used the following settings:

video : xvid, 320x240, 30fps, 3000kbps.
audio : aac, 44100KHz, 96kbps.

@centur Sorry, but your old post just provides a dead link. It hasn't worked for some time, which was one of the reasons why I put M3 up on 4shared. You might consider editing the post?
