Well I'm posting this message from my p1. I succeeded connecting my phone to bluetooth after three years. I have been previously trying with my old phones (w800 and k800) but no success. after 3 years of researching I solved the mistery with my pc and finally I am using bluetooth pan...

well there were plenty of problems with the network card and the motherboard's BIOS which were restricting the connection sharing somehow. updated drivers for the network card and newer BIOS for my pc worked out the problem.

LOL, i think you should have wireless connection on ur laptop, as all new models have. just make a peer-to-peer connection on your laptop, then connect to it with your p990 as connecting a wireless network. dont forget to share your internet connection with wlan on your laptop.
if any1 thinks it's impossible, i did it. used flawlessly.

@jeff: you need to create a pan connection with your bt software. bluesoleil has that option. then you edit the pan account.
