hi guys,after reading the forum about converting k800 to k810 i was thinking will it be possible to convert p1 to w960?

Don't think that this is possible. The smartphones are a little bit more complicated than the normal cell phones.

it's possible. i saw on net some guys did it directly reading w960's rom and writings to p1i with some patches. i hope i'll find the actual link.

Seems like I was wrong it could be possible cause I just saw a M600 converted to a w950.

I don't know why anyone want to put W960's firmware on P1, the only think you gonna gain from this is the Walkman Player3, But its allready possible to install Walkman Player 3 on P1 with UIQ Modding/Hacking.

I believe you can even change the startup screen to that of the w960, so this plus the walkman3 is in effect a conversion, concidering that both phones run the same core os.
