> K850i - ongoing dispute with vodafone

Help needed please...!
I have an ongoing dispute with Vodafone which I am struggling to resolve.
Basically, my K850i upgrade was faulty, a software problem that I have seen people chat about on net forums so it seems to be a common occurence. Phone would vibrate and key lights would flash but there was nothing on the screen.
Anyway, my phone was sent off for repair but when it came back nothing was working at all...It was dead, wouldnt flash, wouldnt turn on or vibrate...Vodafone were saying that there was physical damage and it wasn't covered under warranty! They say that there was damage to the main component board. Now, because my phone was vibrating and lights were flashing before I sent it off, I am claiming that because it won't even switch on or do this now, that someone at Vodafone has damaged this. My question is, if there was damage to the main component board before I sent it off, would my phone have been able to vibrate and flash or would a damaged main component board mean that absolutely no power would go to the phone and it wouldn't turn on like it does now??
Hope this makes sense! Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Flashing Lights and blank screen is common problem and is sorted by flashing so you should have not had any hardware problem then.

Personally, I would ask for a copy of the engineers report and evidence of the daily which they describe as non-warranty daily, then take it from there!

Engineers are required to take photographic evidence when receiving the repair. Also, when vodafone sent it away they are supposed to verify the fault first. If they had seen the fault when you booked it in then the damage definately occured in transit between voda and repair agent. You do have a case here and will need to address a letter to Vodafone head office of your concern and what steps you are going to tkae to take the matter further.

Ok just a few points:
1: You should have got an engineers report which would have had a photograph showing the damage and also detailing the fault.
2: The repair form you sign before your phone is sent away details the repair t&c's, also the repair booklet you should have been given states that if the phone has physical / water damage which would void the manufactures warranty, the phone will be returned un-repaired and possibly will no longer be functioning.

Friend I think it is not hardware problem because flashing lights and blank screen is the common problem.
