izit when i was connected to the wifi, i nid go to web only bcoz when i was connected i din comfirm tat it is using gprs to connect or wifi bcoz my money of my phone balance is deduct.so i suspect tat im connecting it thru gprs although i d connect my wifi.so do i nid to do any setting for it when i on my wifi???sombody pls advice.thank you.

Weird if you connected to wifi then it automatically should have used the wifi connection to go online.
Try to set the connection priority: setting > connectivity > internet accounts > groups
Doe the wifi icon become red after you're connected or does it stay grey?
Edit: While you're connected to the internet just tap on the internet icon in the taskbar and you'll see if you're using wifi, gprs or umts

You should separate your gprs account and your wi-fi account into different groups and enable the connection dialog. See these two links
