I didnt think mega bass was the best option with the headphones out..with the headphones on it was GREAT. But not so great for headphones off..I use treble boost with that.

I actually use to leave the equalizer on default - Normal level. But I pump up the volume to maximum and I'm fine...
Sometimes I use it on headphones, but it is not much.

i agree, i agree

MB indeed sometimes ruin songs especially those with tracks that are already bass-laden..
but one thing that going for it is that it is just there in the corner when you need it for those bass-deficient songs that you somehow would want to hear the bass thump in them
