> Broken K850i power button
Bookmark topic
The power button on my K850i seems to have slipped down on one side making it more difficult to switch on and off. It is still possible to use the button, but I'm worried it may get worse. I'm about halfway through an 18 month contract with O2 in the UK so I would imagine I'm still under the Sony Ericsson warranty. I take good care of my phone and I can't see how this could be my fault. I haven't dropped it or mistreated it. Is this something I should have sorted out or should I wait until it is unusable? Should I approach O2 or Sony Ericsson first? Thanks.

In case anyone is interested, O2 were happy to replace it, but the replacement has just arrived and is covered in scratches and is generally in a much worse condition than the original. They are now going to swap it for another one on my doorstep on Friday.

Good luck, the cheeky buggers, sending you a refurbished phone, what are they playing at?
They should send you the same one back repaired under warranty or a replacement.

Cheers. I don't mind a replacement in some ways (less dust in the camera for a start), but I would expect it to be in at least as good condition as the original! I just hope the next one is OK.
