> w960i cannot recieve any SMS messages

my SE w960i cannot receive any text (sms) messages... i tried sending messages to my own number, and i even asked my friends to send me sms messages but none came.
i tried rebooting the phone.. when it turned on.. the messages came..
"every time i restart the phone, all new messages will be receive. BUT if i do not restart my phone (w960i) i will not be able to receive my new txt (SMS) messages..
how do i solve this?
does anyone encountered this problem on their SE w960i?
HELP pls...

Try turning off 3g. This can cause delayed sms deliveries if there is a problem in your area. Otherwise try a replacement sim. Failing that get the phone sorted under warranty!

SMS can be stored as many as you'd wish, i have once stored over 1000 SMSs, only problem you'd encounter will be sluggishness when opening Inbox with as many SMSs you stored.
however, there's applications which actually speed boosts UIQ performance, especially for opening inbox and stuff like that

yah.. my inbox sms count as of now is 1501 messages
