I have a couple of qustions :-

Anybody here manage to get the caller name feature to play through the Kit itself rather than just the Phone?

Can you change the way it rings?

How come magic word doesn't work?

And lastly maybe the settings can be changed via Bluetooth conection to PC?

Hey whats up,

I posted a question , about the performance in general of the car kit and the guys replay with a thread here it is ,

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=14578&forum=15

If you find something about it posted here , cause i'm interested in the car kit and wanna get any info on it regarding its performance .

About the magic word , I THINK that the phone needs to be searching for it at all times for it to work , don't know exactly how to do it , but i thinks thats how it works , an it will drain your battery pretty quickly.

Try searching here , "bluetooth hands free" cause i know there was a message exlaining about the magic word an how it works with the handsfree, hope it helps .......

Sorry! I saw that thread but the title of it is -
"HCB-30 Bluetooth carkit release date"

I read it and it seemed to have been resolved, Thats why i started a new thread!

If anybody wants any further detail on it like call quality etc please post here!

I don't think many people own it though!..... How many people have bought one?

Still cant get magic word working though and it deffinately doesn't work with headsets because of the battery drain! But this is not a problem as both the phone and the car kit are powered when in the car. I don't see many options in the phone menu for it either. I have set the bluetooth mode of operation to "On" Voice answer etc all work!

I use the HCB 30 with my T39. There are several problems I am having

a) when I start my car, the phone does not connect with the HF automatically, I have to push the green button to get the LED signal green.

b) even if I am connected (green LED is on) I still can't use the magic word...

c) when I receive a call, I had not been able to answer or refuse the call using voice commands

d) the caller name is not announced through the HF

e) when I finish the call, the phone disconnects from the HF, even if I had been previously connected (green LED).

Anybody any comments / fixes to these problems???

I dont know if it should anounce through the hands free but, why cant it? Seems stupid to me!

@Omar I dont have the connection problem that the guy with the T39 has so that is one positive thing going for it! Call quallity is also very good (I have the advanced mute kit also) It's a great kit but i find the voice controll for answering a little hit and miss! Voice dialing works good although you have to press the button on the remote to activate it.

I would just like to change the way it rings and have magic word working!
