Then again and again i have to delete opera mini and reinstall it and then i synchronise and get my all bookmarks. But then again after few hours i lose the bookmarks. I m fed of deleting and reinstalling again and again. Can someone help me out. Thanks in advance.

Its a common problem, partly due to the program being java it seems, closing it incorrectly or your phone switching off at the wrong moment seems to delete whatever it has had in its saved memory. The only solution i can see would be if in opera mini 5 it came with the ability to actually SAVE your bookmarks to one seperate file, so that you can back it up on your pc, for example. Perhaps if enough people ask politely, it may happen!

Ihave been on version 41 for such a long time and I dont recall having this problem ever again.

I can understand your point at which you mentioned that not closing the program correctly may result in such a case. So it is simple always close using [b]menu > exit[b/b]

If so here are some of the common mistakes we ussually make that may render our bokkmarks null and delete them.
1. Do not switch off the phone while the application is still opened.
2. If your camera closes aplications just like the moto v360, v3, v3x etc don open it before the application is exited.
3. On the above similar phones and may more do not play videos as they close down any opened aplication.

If you have more fell free to post

I still think the ability to backup bookmarks would save alot of hassle. Its a must for any browser, pc or mobile! Ps im using the latest opera mini and had a reset yesterday without doing anything! All bookmarks lost, so from now on im limiting how many pages i save into opera mini 4 until they update it! Lol. its still the best browser available for my SE k800i phone with its ability to load pages much faster than the built in one, but mobile phone technology advances fast, so whether opera will ever release a version 5 browser..

i actually found this thread after doing a google for the problem of opera mini crashing easily and deleting my bookmarks. i mean, what the heck!!!?
it may be fast, but it's more trouble than it's worth. i know i can register and synchronise and all that, but i shouldn't have to.

oh, yeah, the best piece of advice for anyone using opera mini.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS EXIT THE PROGRAM VIA THE MENU
