1. Does the Bluetooth driver suite on the PC support A2DP?
2. Make sure you clear *ALL* pairing on the headset before trying to pair with PC:
a. Switch on the headset and keep holding the power button until you hear a beep in the headset.
b. Switch it off again by holding the answer button while you push the power button.
I have a Bluetake 2.0+EDR USB dongle on my PC and it pairs with my DS970. Toshiba's Bluetooth drivers for this dongle are the best, especially for A2DP. If I use the more popular WIDCOMM drivers I find that sound is out of sync when watching DVD movies.

clear all pairing? i thought one unique feature in DS970 was to pair with more than 1 device?

Yes, apparently. In multipoint mode, only one phone can be paired but up to ten other devices for music. Anyway, those are the steps I follow when moving the headset from one phone to another.
