Does anyone have experience sending an animated GIF (or other animations, perhaps with SMIL) to a T300 from regular e-mail? When I've tried this I can't get the GIF to animate on the phone. Of course the GIF animates fine on the PC but once I e-mail it to the phone just the first frame is shown and I can't animate it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you e-mail pictures to the phone in the first place? I can see the picture as an attachment
This post was posted from a T300

I just e-mail the animated GIF from Outlook on the PC.

Have you saved the picture to the "My Pictures" section and then viewed it from there?

No, I just sent the e-mail from the PC and expected to see the GIF animate (just like it did on the PC before I sent it) when I opened it on the T300. I expected it to animate just like when I opened a new MMS sent from another phone.

Well try saving it so it goes to your "My Pictures" section then view it from there.
I'm not saying this will fix it as I've never e-mailed a gif to myself before.

Did you send it as an attachment or did you paste it in the mail itself?
If you did the one. Try the other
It worked for me btw.

Thank you for your reply. I've sent it as an attachment (which didn't animate) and when I paste it into the body of the e-mail most of the characters are unprintable so that didn't work either.
Can you elaborate on your answer?
Thanks in advance.
