I am on firmware version R1FA035 and my service provider is AT&T. I just noticed the "H" icon instead of the "3G" icon.
Is this because AT&T has just upgraded its network in my area?

The "H" icon means that you've got HSDPA coverage, yes.

Thanks NightBlade!
I am assuming that this network is faster than the "3G' one?

6-12 times faster.
Depends on what type of HSDPA network was set up.

Maximum speed of download is 120kbp/s(1mb)
But here TIM is a piece of s*%t!
In this new firmare the hsdpa is automatic like edge/gprs?

Always been this way.

I have a question like this. I know Claro (my provider) has HSDPA because testing on my previous Nokia I achieved up to 1.4Mbps (140kb/s downstream) which meas is 3.5G or HSDPA.
In my previous K850 I used to have the H icon, but now in my green K850 I don't see it. Is there anyway to have it back?
Btw, I'm getting 1.2Mbps (or 100~120kb/s with the 3G-only icon).
3G is supposed to be UMTS which equals 384K and I'm getting 4 times that speed, so in my case I'm connected to HSDPA with my K850 only showing 3G.
