I've had my c702 for nearly two weeks now. In the last couple of days I've started getting an Invalid SIM message on the screen followed by two or three reboots, two or three times a day. I've read of other people having the same problem and wondered if it was a hardware fault or just software?

I bought the phone from CPW sim free and was considering returning it. Will they replace it or send it for repair? I'm really happy with the handset but don't really want to be with out a phone for a couple of weeks while they repair it?

Anyone got any input?

Cheers

Burgaz.

I'm inclined to think its a softwear issue, I had the same thing over a dozen times in one day last week after updating the softwear on my k850i.

On a more positive note after a few days it seems to have settled down, so maybe persist for a few days to see if the same happens with yours.

From my experience with CPW if there store has repair centre in and they flash the software it takes a days or two thats all. They will do it for you.

Same problem here it is a common problem of the A2 platform all you can do is wait for a firmware update from se, if you get the phone replaced the new phone will have the same problem.

Guess i'll just live with it for now then... It's a pain in the arse when half way through a journey using the gps the damn thing reboots itself and you have to set the trip info up again! It's happened during a call earlier too...

I hope they fix the media player skipping bug in the next firmware too!

Ok i reinstalled the FW via SEUS yesterday and it's now rebooted 3times since...

I just checked the CPW website and it states that if your phone develops a fault within 28days they will replace it... I'm seriously considering it. If it fixes the problem then great... If it doesnt then i havent lost anything...

Anyone got any ideas on when an update will be available?

It won't fix anything getting the phone replaced the new phone will have exactly the same firmware and bugs. No idea when new firmware will be avaible you could try contacting se about the issues and ask when new firmware will be realeased.
