Hi guys quick question hopefully all of a sudden my phone wont play the ringtone when it rings or message tone either....it still plays the music and the loudspeaaker works aswell?? im baffed! lol

Did you try using a different ringtone? It may just be the ringtone you wanted to use won't work, or was moved or deleted.

nope i have checked everything.....
does the w890 use 2 different speakers? 1 for when the rings and one for the loudspeaker?

Try shutting your handset off, removing the battery.
Then, re-insert the battery and re-boot your handset. I had the same problem and now the ringers work fine.
This probably happened because your handset's battery hasn't been drained fully.
