W231 candybar has an FM radio with RDS and recording capability, media player, microSD slot, "streamlined interface" for text messaging, and Moto's CrystalTalk noise reduction circuitry. The
W388 and
W396 -- a candybar and flip, respectively -- both offer VGA cams and Windows Media compatibility in addition to the W231's decent list of capabilities.

the only semidecent looking one out of those is the w396. the first 2 look like sony ericssons with their ultra-hideous colours. my god, yellow keypads - no thankyou
. that olive green in the second one looks equally pukeworthy

it is sad for motorolla, nothing from its portfolio inspired me at all except in the beginning the brick, black, small display and very basic feature at all with no sms yet.
whatever attempts they make it will be always as pathethic to me, no magic at all.
maybe they should try to change logo, to make an impact to me. something magical and inspiring or mysterious lol!!
