If you can use any operator's sim card that would mean its sim free but not always unbranded. Did you buy the phone via contract or didn't you take a contract out ? The sim free C902's that are not branded to an operator should be updateable to R3BH002 firmware. There's not another one since as of yet.

I have first release Firmware (R3BA035) and when I try Update thy Update service write:
the software in your phone is up-to-date

Post your CDA info. It is under customisation. May be there is something wrong with CDA format. You should have CDA format like 1234-5678 NOT 123456/789.

As already mentioned. Check your CDA and post it here. CDA's are language specific and certain CDA's have updates released before others as well.
