It was vodafone branded and unlocked, and now phone is locked (for network)

Use this program to make a sim lock patch :
http://rapidshare.com/files/133630995/SIMLockPatchGen_v2.1.rar , first u have to download ur main firmware. Apply the patch using setool lite 1.11

what could have this?
was the phone before CID52(and had a sim lock patch), then got upgraded to CID53 and flashed also. so it erased the patch?
