Hi folks!!
Which one is the better choice, in your opinion, and why!!!
Please don't write 'it's up to you!' I know it is!!
For example, the Sony comes with MP3 player and ear-phones. But I am not sure if the Tungsten does...........
Both good at sending and receiving e-mails? ?

kolokoy Thanks!
I think the Tungsten can be used for mp3. I read a description of the Tungsten on
http://www.expansys.com --->
Stereo Headphone Jack: Listen to MP3 tracks using headphones and add-on software, both sold separately
but I take the point about keyboard. The camera isn't so good though is it?

Clie has a larger screen, better CPU, and WiFi slot.
TT has that cool expanding thing, BT, and SD/MMC slot. Smaller screen.
I'd go for the Clie if I didn't need Bluetooth.
I'd go for the TT if I needed Bluetooth or wanted a device that looked really cool! (I love the expanding part!!!)

thanks jplacson
I only have one bluetooth device, my T68 with i software. I can get a Bluetooth memory stick by asking friends in Japan to price it there for me. Bound to be cheaper than in England.
I can still connect the Clie to the T68 with Infra-red, couldn't I?
I do like the Sony's bigger screen!

Actually, The CPU of the TT is much faster, it's 146 Mhz, and the Clie only has 66 Mhz..

I am not knowledgeable about CPU's on Palms but the
http://www.expansys.com page for the Clie NX70v shows the cpu as an ARM-compliant 200 MHz CPU.
Expansys also has the Clie NR70v and says this has a Super VZ 66 MHz processor'
The Clie site -
http://www.clieplaza.com/ says the cpu is an Intel® PXA250 200 MHz
I can see from the Palm site that the cpu is a Texas Instruments OMAP 1510 (ARM) processor but I have no idea how that relates to speed or power!
I am well and truly confused!

There's a difference between the Clie NX70 and the NR70. The NR70 is running with Palm OS 4.1 and therefor only requires a small CPU (the 66 Mhz CPU is VERY fast for a Palm OS 4 device).
The NX70 is running the new Palm OS 5, which requires more ressources, and therefor the NX70 has a faster CPU.

I know this. Some people recommend to wait for Palm OS6.0 because it will be a major overhaul of the Palm OS. OS 4.1 --> 5.0 seems to have small improvements but 5.0 --> 6.0 seems to be big but I have no idea when 6.0 is being released.
Also heard that the Sony NX70v will be flashable to OS 6.0
