Have any other members of the S.E. website recieved an email alledgedly from S.E and a company called Keynote?
It basically said, that i have been selected to answer questionnaires, and other stuff in return for gift vouchers, all I have to do is fill in a "short" application form, and reply to any emails I may get in the future.
I hit the link filled in application form, it was just the usual stuff: Name, Age Address, Email. Then hit the button at the bottom "Sign Me Up".
This is when alarm bells started ringing, the next page said I had 47 more questions to answer and it would take 10-15 minutes. The first page was was full of "how many kids do you have" "What job do you do" etc.
So I left it as it is and opened another tab to start this thread and ask wether you think this genuine or not?
Thanks.

It'd be cool if the vouchers woud be for phones- here's one for the c905, please test it out and send us back your opinions on it. Reprt any firmware problems you find......
that I would call heaven- but anyway, bes ure to tell us when you find if it's legit.
If it hleps any- I get all those press annoucment emails and stuff and I'm registered at the se support page, but nothing like this has made it's way to my inbox.

I received the same survey. It was just a questionnaire about your mobile phone habits and use. They said they would send out more in the future if you're nominated. They didn't ask for my address or anything or even my phone number.
I think the same mail-out went to everyone who has an online account with

.

Well on the very 1st page of mine it asked for my full name, address and email (which they should already know, really!)
I decided to go for it anyway, at the end of the survey it takes you to Keynotes home page and it does look pretty genuine.
These vouchers get emailed to you though so Im still a bit concerned about why the need my address details.

Really, I can't even remember, I just whizzed though it in about 5 min. It looked genuine to me.

They said they might send more surveys. If it means free stuff then I don't mind.

Well I emailed them and asked why the need my address.
I could be upto 24 hours before i get a reply though.
If it is all genuine, they say I can refer new members so if anyone interested , let me know. But I wont do this till im satisfied though.

Here! here! But be sure to tell us if and how it all works out- and what ya get(I can see some really cool free wallpaper download or somethin here

)
I think more importantly- I'd really love to have a say on what

does(or at least FEEL like I have a say- I've filled out that one online survey like 10x times.

)

I received it too yesterday, thought of posting here but I didn't as the questions asked to me were not new and had been asked before 2-3 times while visiting SE's website...
But it seems that they will be having a new questionnaire sometime in future and that should be interesting and helpful for SE...
I think it's really good that SE wan't to listen to it's customers... The only problem I feel is, most are satisfied with average products, which wouldn't result in answers to make SE what they used to be...

I received an email from

today requiring me to confirm my email address as I had joined a new service.
It took me to my account on the official

site so it seems OK to me.
