I have a unlocked k800 I use in the US on ATT network. Does anyone know the setting to get this phone on the internet? I can make calls and send and receive text messages but cant get sms or internet settings to work. Does anyone use this phone in America with ATT and can give me the settings?
I have tried the setting of other similar phones settings off ATT's website and tried using the service where SE sends you the settings and none worked. I live in a major metropolitan area.
Also on a side note do I have to add medianet to my contract before even trying to get on the internet?

You should ask your operator for GPRS Internet and MMS profiles settings (parameters)... Anyway, you can go to the local operator shop and ask them to configure the phone for you... They should do that without any problems

Or visit the
www.sonyericsson.com web site and search for GPRS and MMS settings... If your contry and operator are supported you can get the profiles sent from the site directly to your phone...

yeah I thought of that but its not a phone they sell, so wouldn't think they support it, and its a phone meant for the UK/Europe market. Do you really think they will help me or just tell we don't support this phone sorry.

They should be able and as long as it has the fetures it must be supported
