I have a P1i and W3 on it,
and i hate the native way to my music (artist, tracks,albums etc...)
Is there a better to make play lists other then going
over my 600+ mp3's and marking them?
can it make a play list by directories? or maybe a program that can do it?

Just do it in Winamp on your PC.
I have an 8GB M2 memory stick in my P1 and almost 1000 mp3's on it (most of them @320 kbps) but they are grouped in albums and for each album I made a playlist (in Winamp) which I also put in the album's folder and it works perfectly in W3.

tried what you suggested but it didn't work for me,
it didn't recognized the files and didn't work with my Hebrew files,
I need a program for the p1i that can take a directory
and make a list out of it.
