Saw this, and it made me wet meself

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3G-appl[....]A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318

advertised for sale yesterday morning.

The seller must be a tad dim as they only have 1 feedback, and what is that for?

this...

Oh, a 24 carat gold 'coloured' cover for an iphone.
Somehow it's lost 1 carat, but the advert states and I quote...

'The 3G Apple Iphone will be delivered new boxed packed with all accessories as stated. It will be also engrave with personal name (on request) on the back of the iphone on gold covering which is made of 23 ct real gold (not platting) - Its real 23 ct gold.'

No photos of an actual iphone, 20 working days delivery and the seller has used the same photo from the seller of the covers.

Oh and a snip at £2,800

Only one positive feedback for the account and as reg says used the same photo for both the supposedly real 23 ct phone for £2800+ and the £5.65 24 ct gold colour vinyl cover. Anyone mad enough mad enough to make a bid should get their head examined.

Anyone feel like giving it a go?

Just posted a message via ebay to the seller.

Are you sure its a real gold iPhone and not a fake, only there are quite a few fakes around at the moment.

Thanks

Will let you know if they reply.

Just had a response to my reply.

Yes i bought the sticker because i wanted to see what other sellers are selling.
The real gold is 24ct which is soft in nature and you cant mould it - so impurity in the form of copper is added to it to make it strong and the carat drops down to 23, 22, 21 and so on - you people dont know anything about real gold hence buy 9 and 19ct gold paying high price - You people are only good in saying piss off and f**k off - Anyways thanks for your message.

Look like we know nothing then.
