The P800 leaves mail on the server by default

Is it possible to empty the server from the P800 as from 7650?

...until you delete it from the inbox folder. After removal it "syncs" on the next session, and deletes from the server.

Thats why! Isnt there an option to leave it on the server? I dont want some mail in my inbox on my P800 but I want them on my computer when I get home.

I am afraid that the 2 options (at the moment) are:
1:do-not-remove-msgs-from-the-P800's-Inbox-unless-you-are-really-really-sure
2:do-not-connect-after-Inbox-housekeeping

Then, don't even try to get your mails from the P800. In this case, you'll not have them on your P800, but you'll get them at home...
Easy, isn't it ??
If you have other tricky questions, just ask...

More seriuosly, I think (not sure) it's the difference between POP3 and IMAP4.
POP3 leaves the original mesage on the server, and gives you a copy on the P800, whereas IMAP4 downloads the message on the P800, and erases it from the PC.
No offense for my last post, it was laughing alone... 'Wanted others to join me !

No probs, woaow. The problem is that even pop3 clients give often the option "leave msgs on server". This client does not. Maybe next release does ? Boh.

I use this feature, and I can ensure you that with orange.fr, it leaves the messages on the server...
