Sounds like they have been very up front.
Were their feedbacks for sales or purchases.

Well they have told you where the phone was from, plus that you could collect if you wished.
If all there feedback had been from purchasing very small items on ebay to get there feedback up, then I possibly would not trust them, but if they were from buying and selling, quite expensive items, then I would trust them a little more.

Its up to you whether to take the chance or not in a purchase to a new seller. If all feedback is positive and you are still wary (eg item brand new and much cheaper than expected) you could always try and contact a previous buyer for an opinion, if its possible. I usually only buy from sellers with alot of positive history (eg over 90 per cent good feedback), but thats just me..

Glad to hear you got one at last. Also something to remember is, we all had to start off buying and selling on ebay, so we all had no feedback at one stage.
Someone who is prepared to meet up with you, is genuine in my eyes.
As for possible fake, I wouldn't know one if it jumped out and bit my arse, sorry.

I never do pick ups or collections when I use ebay as it's to risky! You never know who your really dealing with and if your carrying a lot of cash-well you know the rest!
