hi . i use my w810i autofocus camera to take pictures of pages with text written and they are amazingly clear. i just wanna know whether a phone without autofocus from se is capable of taking clear close pictures as from book?such as g700 .

and to take pictures like you said... it needs to have " macro mode" too .... for example.. nokia n73 .. it has autofocus..but no mcro mode .. and the camera can't focus on very close objects.

1. don't all sony ericsson phones with autofocus have macro too?
2.also, can a phone have macro but no autofocus.
i am just asking abt se phones as i have on interest in others.

hmm...thanks for quick reply. i don't understand why the hell is use of se making 2 or 3 mp camera without autofocus.
it certainly stands no where compared to camera with af.

Well they make that because the phones with no af cameras are oriented for other usage... Walkmans are mainly for music, and you have camera for taking quick snapshots... It is not a digital camera, like the cybershot series, which media player sucks...
